Choose an account

Can I change account type, and is Business multi-user?

Choose Personal for your own planning and Business for up to 50 separate client portfolios and contact details. The choice is permanent and cannot be changed. Business currently has one registered user, and client contacts cannot sign in. Both account types use the same calculations.

What is included?

Both account types include portfolio records, wealth and cashflow views, property and retirement estimates, refinance comparisons, stress tests, suburb research and calculation summaries for supported amounts.

Protect your access

How does two-step verification work, and why does Business require it?

After entering your password, use an enrolled passkey or enter a code from your authenticator app. The first two-step method you set up also provides one-time recovery codes. Two-step verification is optional for Personal accounts and required before Business accounts can access client and portfolio features, because those accounts can hold multiple clients’ personal and financial records.

What if I lose a passkey or my authenticator?

Use another enrolled passkey, your authenticator, or an unused recovery code. The first two-step method you set up provides these recovery codes, and each works once. Then open Security to remove the lost method. Password reset does not turn off two-step verification, and support cannot bypass it. Without another enrolled method or unused recovery code, account access cannot be recovered.

Manage billing and information

Where do I change monthly or annual billing?

Signed in, change cadence under Account, then Billing, not in Stripe. Before confirmation, PropRetire shows the current and new prices, effective date, preview expiry, credit, charge and amount due. Stripe handles payment methods, invoices and cancellation. Prices are in Australian dollars; Personal has a 14-day trial and Business a 30-day trial, with no card required to start.

Does cancelling paid access delete my records?

No. Cancelling paid access leaves the account, portfolios and saved records in place. Only an accepted account deletion request starts permanent removal from the application database; provider records can remain under provider terms and applicable law.

How do I change my sign-in email or revoke another session?

Signed in, open Account, then Security. Request an email change and verify the link sent to the new address. The same page lists active sessions. Revoking one prevents that device from renewing access, but an already issued access session may remain active for up to five minutes.

How do I access, correct or delete personal information?

Edit available account or portfolio information in the product. For other access or correction requests, use Account, then Data and privacy. That page also starts permanent account deletion. Deletion removes the account, portfolios and saved records from the application database, but does not erase records already held by providers.

Understand records and results

What can I record?

A portfolio can connect people, companies, trusts and SMSFs with property, other assets, loans, income, living expenses and tax records.

Why do record dates matter?

A calculation uses the records effective on its stated date. Dated balances and terms preserve what was known at that point instead of overwriting history.

Can I check a calculated amount?

Yes. Open a supported amount to see its calculation details, including the relevant records, dates and arithmetic.

Why is a result sometimes unavailable?

Unavailable is not zero. A required fact, classification, enacted policy or supported calculation path is missing, so PropRetire does not invent a value.

Do planning comparisons change my records?

Cash forecasts, refinance comparisons and stress tests use temporary inputs. A retirement plan saves its assumptions, while the calculated result is rebuilt from the current records.

Does a PropRetire property estimate replace my recorded value?

No. The estimate creates a separate dated valuation basis. Your source record remains unchanged and both values stay identifiable.

Are suburb scores forecasts or recommendations?

No. They summarise dated, state-relative market evidence and coverage. They do not predict returns or recommend a suburb.

Does PropRetire provide professional advice?

No. PropRetire provides educational planning estimates. Check important financial, tax, lending, legal and valuation decisions with a qualified professional.
